We offer some great Elk hunting in New Mexico. We offer hunts on Private land ranches and public in the Gila national forest in unit 15, 16A and 16b.
Our Hunts in the Gila national forest are in some of the best hunting grounds for big Elk these hunts are true wilderness hunts conducted on horseback, 4 wheel drive and spot and stalk on foot. These pack-in camps can be a physical hunt which makes taking a big bull that much more rewarding. Expectations would be in the 300-350 class Elk on these hunts. These tags can be hard to draw so I suggest drawing threw the outfitters pool to increase odds.
2012 Gila National Forest Elk hunts: $3200
Archery Hunting:
September 1st -8th
September 11th -17th
September 19th -24th
Muzzleloader hunting(unit 15):
October 13th -17th
October 20th -24th
November 17th -21st
Rifle Elk Hunting:
October 13th -17th
October 20th -24th
2012 private land hunts:
We can also offer some fantastic private land Elk hunts in unit 34, 36 and 37. This hunt will generally produce bulls in the 320-340 class with those holding out a chance at a 350 class bull. All our private land Elk hunts are less physical but you will still need to be in good shape. Accommodations will be on the ranch. These hunts are 5 full days of hunting with meal included.
$7500 2:1 including land owners voucher
$8250 1:1 including land owners voucher
