After convincing my self i do not need another gun my lack of self control failed , i have purchased a sporterised M38 6.5x55 built in the early 1980s by an old gun smith friend of mine who has sadly passed away. He & i built a number of rifles from M96, M38 Sweeds & Dwm M98 7x57s some of those rifles were near new , like a fool i traded
mine off over the years to get some thing better . this rifle was one of his keepers beautifully built . i have a great regard for the 6.5x55 & have a Tikka T3 light weight special edition in a Bell & Carlson stock

The M38 and M96's are excellent rifles, even with the original barrels. I have three 96's in various forms, one of which is the improved version, original stepped barrel and cut down military stock...shoots minute of 'roo all day long with 129 Hornady interlocks.

I bought a great deal of the brass he had for sale, plus I already had many hundred rounds.

How much brass are you looking for?

Hi Green Chile, I just recently bought a 470 NE barrel for my Thompson Center TCR 83-87 single shot. Im just looking for some 470 NE to shoot at the range just to try it out. I dont need anything special but I just wanted to see what you have left. I dont necessarily even need a full box.
Thanks
Bill
