Loading data for the 340 Weatherby

Hi guys
Just wondering if anyone has played with Alliant Rel 26 powder in the 340 Weatherby. I have had great success with it in the 270 and 300 Weatherby’s but as yet tried it in big brother. Any data would be appreciated.

I don't even see anything with it on their load data site, but then my favorite load isn't listed either.

I found a load with RL22 and a Barnes 225 grain bullet that is very accurate in my .340. But you won't find that load in any manuals anymore either. Something about product liability.

Thanks for that Jim. I use 88 grs of Rel 19 with a 230 gr Oryx. That gives me around 3000 fps and good accuracy. Rel 22 was my go to powder in the 270 wea and 300 wea but since using Rel 26 I’m finding with the same powder weight it’s giving me the same velocity with less pressure. This is suggesting that the burning rate is different then what they say.
Has anyone else found that the new Alliant powders especially Rel 26 seem different in how they perform.
