Any fans of High West whiskey here? If you have not tried it, pick up a bottle of their double rye or if you are a big spender, their rendezvous rye is to die for. The prairie bourbon is also a really solid choice. It is by no means the smoothest rye I have had but it is certainly the most exciting as far as flavor. For someone who drinks as much whiskey as I do, High West is a really great change.

Yup long time fan but now there prices keep going up on there rendezvous. I live in Utah where it is bottled and use to pick up the rendezvous for cheap the first few years they where bottling it. I will still get a bottle a few times per year but not like i use to. They did have a pretty nice tour in the park city factory back when the first opened. I’m not sure if they still do it now.

The High West whiskeys are spendy here, I've picked up the Rendezvous Rye and enjoyed that at $70 a bottle and just got the BouRye in a trade for an EH Taylor Straight Rye, I'll open that soon with some friends.
Everyday I'll typically go for a wheated bourbon, Weller Special Reserve or Antique 107. Love the Kentucky stuff.

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.
