This is a very nice scope that includes both lens caps. This scope was mounted on a Ruger RSI to hunt hogs in very early morning and late evening. I shot the rifle some 20 times and decided to install a low power scope for heavy woods, north Georgia deer hunting.

I own one of these, and they are excellent low light scopes, if a fixed 7x will work for you.

I couldn't figure how to take a picture of the BDC crosshairs but found an image in the internet which shows what they look like.

For those that don't know the MeOpta scopes, you may want to to an internet search.

BTW, Livens has one for sale at £520.00. See https://www.livens.co.uk/product/meopta-artemis-2000-7x50-4c/

They are very clear and bright, better than my Leupold 2x8.

I have compared quite a lot of scopes in low light, we can hunt until sunset here.

I have Zeiss,Swaro,Kaps,Leupold, old and new... and one Meopro 1-6 that I bought for a combination gun, I thought mainly for range shooting. But Meopta honestly surprised me when I took it against the others in low light for the first time. Very clear, good contrast.

Lots of view for the money. It is coming to deer hunt with me now.

Petander, I also was surprised how clear and bright this scope is. I only traded it out because I had a low power Leopold that I thought would be better as a woods scope where ranges are short.

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
