I shot a pretty one with winter coat last year, but didn't anticipate the damage to the other side of the pelt with a 30'06...

Study I read a while back based here in Georgia suggested that bobcats kill as many fawns every year as coyotes. During the furbearer season I shoot every one I see. Shot a 28 lb female a couple years back.

Probably right but my landowner has a soft spot for the cats. We do kill a few every year if a client wants to mount one. We do wear out the coyotes, though. We now have a grey fox crapping on the porch at the lodge, and he is "shoot on sight" from LO
