Here are a few AH members and a few other pics that I thought were worth noting because of the story behind them. Sorry that I forgot to take pictures of all the AH people . It was a little crazy at times. And, a huge thank you to all AH members who stopped by to say hello and/or buy a book. I truly appreciate it

Many of you may know Kevin Robertson from his shot placement books. I finally got to meet him and his wife Catherine in person. He has been a big supporter of my book. Also, I now consider his wife Catherine a dear friend. She is writing a book (don’t worry I’ll tell you all about when it is released). Kevin reached out for advice of self publishing and long story short I ended up being Catherine’s beta reader and we became fast friends. What a fun read. She is spunky! I can’t wait for you all to read it too.
You don’t know Acacia (don’t ya love her name) but she is special! Her high school project was about conservation through hunting! Last year at SCI she bought Cries of the Savanna to use for her project and I’m happy to report she rocked it! She came back this year and stopped in to tell me about it. I love young people like this!! It is so encouraging.
I’m including April Marie because she is a nonhunter and talk show radio host who came to SCI to learn the truth about hunting. Kevin Robertson sent her to me and we talked for 20 minutes before she asked if we could just do a radio interview next week. She was awesome. If everyone could be like her and open their minds and learn the truth, how wonderful would that be.
I’m including Joy because she was once opposed to hunting in Africa. After reading cries of the Savanna she is a staunch advocate. Her family joked that she is now like a crusader and talks to everone about it. I love that!
This is Brant MacDuff. We met on Instagram and became fast friends and now met in person. He was a staunch anti-hunter until he decided to investigate the hunting is conservation claims. He did a 360 and is now a hunter! His book The Shotgun Conservationist will be out in a few months. He brought me an advance copy that I can’t wait to read.
This is Michael. We finally met in person! He has been a fan and supporter since almost the beginning. He already had a book but he bought another signed hardcover and then FIVE more to put in the FREE little library boxes in his town. That made my day for sure!
I’ve missed a LOT of people but my brain is on overload. Needless to say, SCI for me was amazing. Having such support from new people and return people filled my heart and gives me the determination to keep working hard to get the book into as many hands as possible.
Thanks to all of you from AH who stopped in to say hi and/or buy a book. I appreciate it more than I can say.
