I just returned from a 24 day hunt in the Caprivi. I took my Kimber "Caprivi" 375 H&H and my 65 prc. My 375 has almost no recoil and I took a very nice buffalo and hippo with one shot each. I used barnes tsx loads and they performed very well. Recovered both bullets and they weighed 278 grains...

Guns International and Gun Broker have the big bores up for sale quite often. In the past month I purchased a Kimber Caprivi in 458 lott unfired in the box from 2013. I was also able to purchase a Caprivi in 375 h&h. Both from Guns International.

The claw marks on my Buff were from the two male Lions that were hanging on him. My Caracal was killed at the main camp on my last hour of the hunt. All my other animals were taken on the Caprivi.

I took the sable and the buff on the Caprivi.

Thank you for the information. My PH had a Kimber which I hunted with. It worked well but this year I want to take my own rifle. I have a Christensen 375 but I think I want a controlled feed which the Christensen is not.
