    TSX 400grain , 416 Remington for leopard

I know I would not argue with Dr Robertson. I think you're wise to give the 400gr PP a chance. If you can get the 400gr SS version, you can expect to use the exact same load with same POI and accuracy.

I'm questioning what the appropriate beverage would be to pair with smoked horn frog....but outside of that @gizmo has done work for me in the past, is currently working on some more and will again on yet more when my horns/hides from Mozambique last year make it to his shop.

Finally getting a shot at an elephant with a bow!!

I get your point, but there is something to be said for a quick and humane ending and doing what's right by the animal. Seems that bull's suffering could've been ended sooner and the hunter's credit for a bow kill be damned seeing how he took an ill advised shot to begin with. Just speaking to...

    Great 4457 experience

The only thing I had that represented an issue was with a lady that freaked out when I just walked in with my rifles in their cases. She barked at me that I should have come in empty handed prior to and let her know what I was needing to do. Funny, I did that before the agents looked at me...

Finally getting a shot at an elephant with a bow!!

Everyone makes bad shot at some point if they hunt long enough. I would have a lot more sympathy if he had said "I should have held the shot" instead of the leading comment. A moving shot at an elephant with a bow...some things just don't make sense to me nor should be published.

CANADA: Big Bears During The Rut In Saskatchewan

@Green Chile, one thing I don't think you've addressed, maybe I missed it, is table fare of these Canadian bears. My one and only black bear was from Hyde County, NC. Those bears were nice and fat on peanuts and were excellent eating. How about these ones?

Welcome to AH posting side. I believe if not mistaken the typical twist rate for the .375HH is 1:12. My M70 shoots equal accuracy with 250gr and 300gr heads. I guess its possible you'd want the 1:10 for 350gr projectiles, but I'll have to let others chime in on that.

CANADA: Big Bears During The Rut In Saskatchewan

Nice videos and of course bear you took @Green Chile. For those not so bear hunting experienced, I count myself in this as I've only got one, watch the videos of the sow closely a few times. You'll notice how the front end of a sow is quite a bit smaller than a boar. It's almost as if the...

I traveled to the Philippines for work some better part of 30 years ago and spent 3 weeks there. The tour of the island I'll not forget. Seeing the shot out buildings, the divots in the armament, well it was also just fascinating to me. As the tour proceeded we ended up down at the beach...

Want to buy reloading press and dies- Advice needed

That kit will definitely get you started. The powder dispenser I would say is pretty old school along with the scale. However both have worked for many years, it's just a bit of a slower process than with the more advanced dispensers available now. A few things I see you'll need in addition...

    375 test run

Very nice, groups holding well over a fairly wide charge range. I think I'd stick with that 77gr load. The 78gr load showed a bit less increase in velocity than the other 1gr increases. Makes me think it's about to open up a bit after that. And the 77gr load gives you great velocity.
