You'll most likely never shoot at something over 100yards, if you are dangerous game hunting. If you think you'll will use it on eland or kudu choose a 416. I would focus on which recoil is the best I can tolerate and the weight and handling of the rifle. I had a Jarrett Professional Hunter one...
