I like the electric carving knife idea, but I did mine with a filet knife. I always have a couple extra foam inserts, so I can change up the complement depending on where I am going and what I might be hunting.

I hunted in the Save Valley Conservancy in 2010 and had an absolute blast. Great place, big area, no internal fences, big 5 all present. There are several good outfits that operate in the Save.

One more vote for the Warne QD. I have them on a couple of scopes that I use on a CZ 550 in 375H&H. I have had no issues.

I have used the Warne QD with no issues on my CZ550. I have several scopes that I use on it and they have all stayed on zero.

For record keeping purposes SCI recognizes 4 types of Kudu. Admittedly some of it arbitrary and based on geography but interesting none the less.

It is kind of like asking what is your favorite NFL or Collage Football team! It really depends on the individual. My vote is the leopard over bait. Tough hunt, sometimes takes multiple trips/hunts to get it done. In the end a fantastic trophy and usually well earned.

What billc said is right on. Tell us the animals on your lists and we can try to give you a better idea. You are hunting in good areas and if you have a good PH and if you and your buddy shoot straight you should have no problem. Best of luck and most important soak in every minute of your time...
