For me, both. Creedmoor recoil is low. Great for youth/women. Deadly on deer sized game PRC recoil more like a 270 - but, extremely accurate, very deadly.

Limited to ~20 Kimbers, so for what it's worth, I find them to be consistent, accurate, and dependable. Easy to change a good trigger to a great trigger by changing a $7spring. The AA and AAA wood can be really nice. Dakota makes a nice rifle, too!

The Accubond will work fine on Eland. Most plains game are shot under 200 yds, the heart/lungs are the the target - choose accordingly.

When loading 3 grains more than Hornady max, I doubt you have low pressure. Have you checked the speeds over a chrono? When reloading big bores really watch the speeds. Is this brass new, or used? Did the primers feel snug when pressed into the brass? Used brass could have swollen primer...
