That’s going to be a tall order for a drop in. A youth model will get you the LOP your after, but most likely will be for a hinged floor plate. Bell and Carlson makes a 700 BDL WBY style but again, hinged floor plate and also outside your LOP. Best of luck

Joann Fabrics usually has a medium density green colored foam in stock at their stores. It’s a bit thicker but works well. I’ve also ordered replacement three piece set from Amazon.

I’m a fan of Bell and Carlson stocks. They’re fiberglass and have a full length aluminum bedding block. They weigh in at roughly 2lbs. I’ve used them on Tikka, Ruger, and CZ. All tightened up the grouping with the same loads as stock.

I agree with Challer. Both are capable of taking all. The issue is if you are not a hand loader the Ruger will be limited by ammo manufactures.

I’d be interested in the BRNO with the 10mm barrel. The 7.5mm ammo could be a limiting factor. It also may be a bit heavy to carry as a backup will hunting in some areas. I think I’d try it if I could hold it prior to buying.

This rifle has never even seen rain. It stays in the safe unless It’s headed to Birchwood range then soft case.
