Mine is 23 ( yesterday) second trip for us coming up. I think 15 is plenty old enough to accompany on DG hunt. As long as he is capable of doing what he is told by the ph. walk quietly, dont talk when it is required, be still,if told etc. Some 15 year olds can do it no pblm. Some 15 year olds...

I have the EXO pack , hauled out two Elk a couple of years ago. Great design and can haul meat without going back to truck to get pack frame. Nice packs!

After my hunt in 2018, my wife and I went to Victoria Falls, stayed at the Victoria Falls hotel( awesome place oozing history) we really enjoyed ourselves, with COVID and extra countries involved it may be difficult, but definitely worth the trip to go.

First time out , open sights off of shooting sticks@45 yds. Definitely AHR custom rifle, beautiful and worth the $ . I bought the 375 H&H and love it.

It is very accurate , a pleasure to shoot for 375 h&h.

Have you thought about using PH s gun( rent) ? They probably have several appropriate calibers , most with suppressors on them. No recoil , no paperwork , no hassle. Not a bad way to go for plains game. For Dangerous game I prefer to take my own. Just a thought. 7mm-08 is a great round with good...

It is a AHR custom rifle. I purchased it this weekend , actually got the price down a little lower. Thanks for the input . Will be a nice addition to my gun room.

This place always delivers great ideas, and good insight. I have a great combo with a Montana rifle Company v-2 rifles in stainless with a zeiss victory 1.5 x 6 illuminated scope on it. Just always looking at more rifles and I’m a sucker for pretty wood!

Found an AHR CZ 550 in 375 H&H for 4000.00$ seems like a good price. Anyone have info or opinions? It is the full upgrade which costs 3750 on the website. Thanks

If you look closely at his pedestal mounts, the juncture of the hide and pedestal are done in a very tasteful beautiful manner. They look great ! His work is excellent.

Buff hunt in 2020. Plains game as opportunities arise. I picked up the Zeiss and could always get the Swaro if I don’t like the zeiss. Red dot was final determining factor. ( good price on both) Thanks to all who helped with great info. Now, to start practicing

I actually have a z6 on a different gun with more magnification, Swarovski is really nice. Was just wanting to compare to Zeiss victory, looks like red dot is a good feature to have in either scope. Thanks for all the input
