Neal Shirley's 550 Express, lol chopped $1,000 of brass to form 200 pieces of shootable brass. Multiple expanders, multiple annealing, but they are looking good.

Half the batch being anealed, nnow on to trimming.

460 weatherby, but I made some from the 500 weatherby being sold by Bertram. That was fewer steps. One annealing, one expansion, and one case trimming. The 460 weatherby is a bit more. The 550 magnum is awesome, but the 550 express I am going to us more for recreational shooting and bear hunting. I had 6 of the barreled up, but I already gave one to my friens son. He is shooting the heck out of it. That is why I needed more brass. I had a couple hundred pieces of formed brass before but keeping up with his shooting is challenging. He is shooting 2 or 3 times a week.

Thanks Ray- I’ll have to research that cartridge. I’ve heard of it but not studied it. Sounds intriguing!!

What velocities are you getting with the 350 gr projectiles?
I’ve only loaded up 62g of IMR 3031 so far chrony’d at 2260fps for test firings. All went well and I’ve loaded more from 63-66g for testing and chrony hopefully today. I’ll let you know. Cheers

Half the satisfaction is probably just getting everything organized and ready before anything else happens.

There’s something oddly satisfying about working with components you don’t see every day. It reminds me of a Slotlair Casino https://slotlair-enligne.com with a few unusual games mixed in among all the familiar slots, the rarer stuff naturally ends up getting most of the attention.

That's a proper chunk of brass prep, both of those cartridges keep the bench interesting.

I just whipped up a small batch of 8-bore 3.25" using a 260gr charge of FFg black powder under a 85 caliber ball.

Good morning from Montana.

I'm looking at a post from 2018 where you were looking for a lefty Winchester in .375 H&H Magnum. I'm selling mine. My email is [redacted] in the event that you're still searching for a unicorn.

Best,

Kelly Palmer

Good Evening. I am very interested in you hunt for the spiral slam. March in 2028 would be fine for me

Couple of quick questions:

1) Can we add some additional species on
2) what do you want for a deposit?
3) how do you want me to sign up

I'm on whats app or email
