BRNO ZKK 600

I managed to get the diopter to come out of its housing, I had to remove a screw that it has, which I think is to regulate the height of the point of impact when shooting with the diopter. Now the problem is that it is impossible to put the screw back into its housing, I think the thread has been damaged and perhaps it needs to be checked with the appropriate tool.

Chase the threads, if you can, with the proper sized tap. Work it VERY slowly with a good grade of cutting oil.
That should clean up the threads.
Good luck!

Thanks for your advice. I'll tell my brother that he works with metals and those types of tools so he can take care of the task. I am very clumsy.

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.
