Same problem in New Zealand, but here it's a generational issue where some live for the benefit and believe it's there birth right to get paid for not working. But the level of work ethics has certainly dropped since covid.

It's a good option for a one gun safari, I took my 416 Rigby to Mozambique for Buffalo and plains game, 400g swift aframes did it all, warthog, nyaka and buff. For a dedicated plains game safari I'd look at 350g Aframes.

Do it all with the 416 Rigby if that's the rifle you have. I last year I went to Mozambique, for buff and a plains game hunt, I took along my 416 Rigby and used it successfully on animals from warthog up to Buffalo, with no issues what soever, in fact I really enjoyed it. A friend hunted...

I use them in mt 7x57 at 2550 fps, 45.7g w760, f215 primers, they are a bit to tough for smaller game like fellow deer sized. But would be good for larger animals, red stag

I have a factory 1972 Brno in 416 Rigby, double square bridge with peep, with all matching numbers. It was around this time I believe Rigby was using the brno action for there big game rifles. The rifle you have may well be one of the barreled actions Rigby used at the time.

Definitely looks like a brno action and possibly from early 1970s. Still a very nice rifle indeed.
