The P14 has a sightly smaller extractor than the P17, but it large enough that it should never fail. I have a P14 barreled and am at the stocking stage.

I think your choices are: Hornady, Buffalo Bore, Superior (?), and reload yourself

H&H or Ruger?

You get a buddy with QuickLoad. Give him the needed data - cartridge, SKU of the projo, powder, barrel length, H2O capacity if you have a fired case - he gives you the load back that matches a harmonic node/sweet spot for your barrel. We usually start at 100% case fill and reduce the grains...

Could be you induced a pressure point onto the barrel while holding the rifle on the sticks. Could be your head is not aligned the same behind the scope between prone and standing behind sticks. I notice this difference a great deal now because due to neck disc souvenir from the Army, it hurts...

Are you using a cheekrest such that you can anchor your cheek bone is in the same place each shot? Are you moving off the rifle between shots/placing your melon back on the rifle in a different position? Both of these can string your impacts. Lots of other good possibilities above as well.
