    425 Westley Richards-.435" --->400gr Cutting Edge Bullets

    Contacted peregrine, they directed me to their US distrib and they appear to my carry tactical stuff, and it’s only a 360gr, much rather have the original 400

    425 Westley Richards-.435" --->400gr Cutting Edge Bullets

    You are correct, Woodleigh says they do, but then they don't. I'm told they have no idea when they will produce them again. I saw that Bertram bullet on a website somewhere, can't remember where. I've lost a fair bit of faith in Bertram, have had some calibers of their brass work great...

    What is your accuracy standard for a Big Bore bolt gun?

    Shooting from a bench only tells you what the gun is capable of in the best of circumstances. if it doesn’t shoot consistently from the bench or maybe a better word is predictably, you got problems. Shoot a 10 shot composite group and see what happens, vary time between shots,…your rifle may...

    425 Westley Richards-.435" --->400gr Cutting Edge Bullets

    Running into trouble finding solids for the 425 Westley Richards rifle (Woodleigh I don't think cares about producing such an obsolete diameter anymore). The rifle is currently being worked on at MNR Custom. Long story behind the gun but it's going to end up with the center feed conversion...

    Dakota 375HH ammo issues

    If this is a Dakota/Parkwest production gun that hasn't been messed with I'd be shocked if they didn't just take care of it...... In looking again at the picture with the AF that appears to have LAN marks on it,....looks to me like the bullet could be seated another 20-30 thou minimum,....may...

    Community Designed AH Hunting Knife

    When I think of a knife for the bold spirited African outdoorsman I think utility, and in the USA when it comes to knives for utility that aren't ridiculously expensive, I think of LT Wright. It is a lot easier carry a 3.5" blade, but in bushcraft, skinning, boning, quartering, or defending...

    Dakota 375HH ammo issues

    Do you have a caliper and a .375 comparator....if so take the measurement and see how much difference there is. I would not recommend doing anything to you chamber yourself.....send it to Dakota, they will take care of you 100%. There is a big difference between the Barnes and A Frame Shape...

    Lehigh Defense 375 & 416 WFN SOLIDS-Anyone have any experience to Report?

    Valid point, however, with that thought process you may as well nix the 300 and 400 and go 375- 350's, and 416-430's.

    Lehigh Defense 375 & 416 WFN SOLIDS-Anyone have any experience to Report?

    In looking at all the solids on the market similarities and differences, as well as reading the test data done by members here....I haven't seen much on this bullet series. They look good, have a flat frontal area and bands similar to a barnes..... Anyone use them...

    Next Buffalo hunt

    Makore Safaris-DUCKWORTHS at Coutada 9 in MOZ. There aren't better PH's in Africa and the area is 1 million acres of complete wilderness. They are just getting ready to open a new camp in the North. Also heard that gary just got a new area as well. They are hunting buff on C9 but on a pretty...

    375 H&H Please Help Identify this rifle

    I don't think it's a Sako, I wasn't aware that Sako ever used FN/Belgium Mauser actions for any of their guns but I could be wrong.

    Ideal bullet weight for eland?

    I had the experience of shooting a very large Eland with a 416 Rigby and a 350gr Barnes Solid. Was stalking a grysbok and it took off , then got distracted by an Eland heard right there in the background....was in close proximity and it was 2 hours of shadowing the heard before I got a shot at...

    Hydrosonic Brass Cleaning-Heat Affects Brass

    Thanks for the input. My hornady hydro cleaner get to 170’s, brass is hot as hell when I take it out. I was thinking it would almost function as a heat treatment and may cause brittle brass situation.
