Hey fellas, would you recommend going with the 165 or 180 TTSX in 300WM for PG assuming both shot equally well in same rifle?
By practice, I've always shot on the heavier weight spectrum (212 ELDX) in the 300WM but haven't shot mono's before in same rifle.

It was on the cheap and easy; been poor folk living on farm had to make ends meet and re-use whatever we could.

I own a 300PRC albeit a custom.
For turn key, hard to fault a Christensen or Seekins PH2.
Christensen does have a faster twist (8) vs Seekins (10) so if you decide to reload the heavier pills "should" behave more consistently with the 8 twist.
I do like a BDL design more than DBM so...
Gotta think even more basic here IMO, stoopid cheap to shoot to learn the basics of sight picture/breathing/trigger control....drum roll....
A high power spring pellet gun in 22 or 25 cal
Grab a RWS 48 or 52 side cocking and a couple tins of Crosman Premiers then start with irons at 10yds and...

Cut barrels then Bartlein/Obermyer/Brux/KP/Chanlynn/Proof/Rock Creek/Kreiger
Button barrels then Broughton (before Tim retired)/Hart/Lilja/Schneider
