I don’t mount anything. I take some pictures, eat some meat, and talk about the hunt with family and friends. For every animal I don’t mount, that’s one step closer to my next hunt.
Living and traveling in southern Africa we encounter terrible roads frequently. Wouldn’t want to be broken down or stuck on any of them. The reliability and off-road capability of my Land Cruiser is outstanding.
Bottled water is routinely available in most locations. In places it is not and as a backup, I take a Grayl. I have filtered water with it many times. In today’s world, it’s about as good as you can get…especially when you consider the size.
We fly over frequently from the States as we now live over there. Best bang for your buck is bulk head seating. We have tried everything and nothing has the value of the bulkhead seats.
I fly from the States to SA 2-3 times a year. I carry my prescription medications in the labeled bottles in my personal item (in case my carry-on bag is unexpectedly checked), and have never had a problem.
