    Spain or Portugal 2025

I happened to chat with Carlos on this forum last month and ended up hunting with him. Super nice guy and very helpful. If you are planning on going to the Valencia area, I would suggest reaching out to him. His handle is Aranuel on this forum. Happy to send you his phone number also if you DM me.

    Last minute spain hunt

Dang! That is unfortunate, but good to know. I will try to get something booked tomorrow then and hopefully it would return in time. 375 Ruger Fan, yes I did. Some great options and I reached out to some of the outfitters referenced. But with it being so last minute, I figured someone might...

    Last minute spain hunt

Thank you for the reply and advice 375fox. I figured the rifle paperwork would be a tight connection. The one outfitter I have talked to so far said they had a rifle for rent for 100$ a day. I will reach out to Espacaza and see if they have availability.

    Last minute spain hunt

My wife and I ended up with some free flights to Spain mid January 2024. Looking to organize a quick few day hunt for mouflon, ibex, roe, or hogs. January 13 and 14th would be best. If anyone knows anyone with availability or suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Gallagher Transport, Problems importing, rookie mistakes?

Thank you all for your responses. Once Splitting Image reached out it seems all my emails were responded to. I understand that this issue was not on their end, almost 3rd hand at this point. Gallagher has said that "The main problem with your shipment is It was held up in Chicago on a routine...

Gallagher Transport, Problems importing, rookie mistakes?

Splitting Image sent it to Badger Cargo automatically. Badger Cargo then used Gallagher. In the email from Badger Cargo they state that we must inform them of a customs broker or they would "suggest one of our capable partners"

Gallagher Transport, Problems importing, rookie mistakes?

Brickburn Thank you for the contact and the info. I agree with what your statement, but will such little communication or information from Gallagher, I am unsure what actually transpired with the shipment. It was their suggestion to keep the shipment going to Denver and that they would secure...

Gallagher Transport, Problems importing, rookie mistakes?

Lesson learned. I just assumed that it would be all good and couldn't make that big of a difference and that the recommendations/standard affiliate company of someone like splitting image wouldn't be a disaster. I will wait to see what the final bill is but I am going to assume at this point I...

Gallagher Transport, Problems importing, rookie mistakes?

Thanks for the replay. Is it normal for a taxidermist like splitting image to recommend an importer like this? I have herd the same thing. If it is 400$ a day, that would be upwards of 20k usd. Not sure what I would do Is it normal for an importer to not communicate what is happening or not...
