Unlikely your Ruger has a 1-10 twist. That would be abnormally fast for this round and would be doubtful Ruger would go that route.
Unless its a custom barrel...
Mine is from 1984 and still has the release inside the trigger bow. And I dont know about this rifle, but mine has a second recoil lug bedded forward of the receiver in the barrel channel.
Have a nice used mid 80's Miroku Browning in .30-40 Krag. All original but no box or papers. I purchased a new Win that is drilled for sights and these Browning's never were and old eyes and open sights dont make for good shooting.
Bluing is nice but for some light scratching on the receiver...
Getting the shell deflector to reliably kick cases out of the action may take some fiddling. For my purposes, if I get them out most of the time, thats OK but I dont have 100 percent.
The deflector is adjustable however.
I know this is old, but just today I snagged a pretty rare 30 Express in .30 Remington. Most by far are 30-06 and the smaller Rem rounds are rarely seen, this is the only .30 Rem I have seen and it wasnt even on my radar, was looking at something else when it popped up about 10 days ago...
