    Greatest athlete of modern times

Too many variables to consider as previously mentioned. My vote goes to Usain Bolt. His sprinting dominance over the course of 12 years was unmatched and he made it look easy. His 200M record will stand for a LONG time.

If money were no object, where would you hunt and why

Marco Polo sheep in Tajikistan More reasonable but still a little too pricey for the time being: West Texas free-range elk, eastern plains of Colorado for mule deer

SOUTH AFRICA: Eastern Cape, South Africa - Cape Buffalo, Spiral Slam & More With NICK BOWKER SAFARIS March 2026

Client Rents Rifle, Client Damages Rifle or Scope, Who Should Be Responsible for Repair?

I'll be renting a rifle next year on my first trip so this thread is providing me great questions to ask about the gun hire. Personally, I would pay for the repair or replacement of the scope as I caused the damage that now makes the scope unusable, but each situation will be personality driven.

    Booked for my 2nd trip!

Congratulations! I've got my first trip booked for May 2027. I find myself planning and daydreaming of the trip all the time even though I can't even buy airline tickets yet. Lots and lots of research helps pass the time for me. Good luck with your trip.

CANADA: Polar Bear Hunt Nunavut Canada

Wow. What an adventure and congratulations on a great hunt. I'd sure as heck rather read about these types of adventures than any whitetail hunt.

    Hello from Central Texas

My list is fairly short for "must hunt" in Africa. Greater Kudu, Sable, and Red Lechwe. I like the plains game, and not just for the price. I'm not really interested in dangerous game, but we'll see after how I feel after my first trip. My #1 target worldwide would be Marco Polo sheep and...

Nice to virtually meet you. I didn't know such groups exist but I'll look them up.

    Hello from Central Texas

Good evening fellow hunters. I'm a long-time browser of this website and am thankful for all the advice and info shared. My wife, I, and another couple are planning to travel to South Africa next year for our first African hunt. I've stalked a variety of animals in the lower 48 and am looking to...
