It does have a hollow knob. I would much rather own one of these old beauties than the rifles coming off the line by bergara, winchester or even weatherby today. They were built by a craftsman not a machine

Thank Ontario, I looked up the builder (A. Francotte) and they made some fancy stuff! I put a Leupold 1-5 on it. Just need to find some ammo.
