It was a clean miss right over the shoulder. She dropped straight down, before she turned and the arrow went right over her back.

Redemption "Redemption" After missing with his bow earlier in the year (see above post), we broke out the "thunder stick" and he redeemed himself. The smile says it all. I was one proud papa! nd

So Close! "So Close!" These are photos of the same deer before and after a shot that my son took on his first bowhunt. I photo shopped the lines in for reference so you can see how far she dropped at the shot. His arrow went right where he was aiming but she was not there when it got there...

Third Bird "Third bird" This is the third bird from a triple I shot last fall. They got up within 5 seconds of each other and I shot all three. My dog, Dash, marked all three and delivered all to hand. Gotta love a good bird dog. nd

Pretty simple for me, I make sure and say a prayer during every hunt. Some before, some after, some during, but I never forget. nd

Those Muzzy 3 blades would be a good choice. Get them tuned and you won't be disappointed. nd

I would also recommend Dries Visser Safaris for archery only places. I went with them in July 2010 and had a blast. Search for "ndbwhnter is back" on AH here and you can read my hunt report. nd

That set up will work just fine IMO. Put the arrows in the right spot and show us the pics when you get back. nd
