I am curious to know if anyone has seen a Leupold scope fail due to recoil. I have put a bunch of their scopes through a lot of punishment in the woods, rivers, and mountains, and I have never had one fail or even lose zero.
Swaro has nice glass. I have no experience as to their durability...
I am about to leave on a quick trip to Australia. I will be primarily spending time in Melbourne and Sydney, and tragically I won't have time for any hunting. Are there are cool outfitters, sporting goods stores, gun shops, or similar destinations I should check out? Any interesting...
If you read my post, you'll see that I did in fact shoot my test loads over a chronograph. This is not my first rodeo. I am hoping someone else has personal experience loading 416 Rigby with IMR 4350. Based on the dearth of responses so far, It appears that is not the case. I agree that...

Do you find that it relates in any way to the year of production? Based on the ones I looked it, it seemed like earlier production guns tended to have better wood, but I don't have a big enough sample to say for sure.
By way of update I purchased an unfired RSM in 416 Rigby. Picked it up today. Need to mount the scope and load a few rounds. I hope to shoot it this weekend.
