My old weatherby vanguard 257wby mag shot ok but never well. I wasn't a fan of the pressure point bedding at the end of the stock, to me it was inconsistent and caused flyers.

Here in NZ our conditions are rugged and very changeable. I hunt most weeks, the only brand that hasn't let me down is Nightforce. I have had to send 3 Leupolds back, mainly for internal fogging or tracking issues.

Very good sight picture, full view no impact at all.

A Husqvarna model 640 in 9.3x62. Fantastic lightweight stalking rifle that was reliable and accurate.

Had a great run with my old 375 Ruger Alaskan. Very accurate and functioned flawlessly, definitely the preferred model of all Rugers I've used.

That was my initial assessment, but the thickness of the jacket and mushroom pattern certainly look bonded and well constructed.

Hi all, Purchased these .423 projectiles for the 404 Jeffery not knowing brand. Loaded with RL15 got them doing 2270fps and under 2 inch groups at 100m. Question is, what are they? Pictures attached for reference. Recovered from a wild Bull here in NZ, retained weight 354grs, original weight...

I no longer own it, but this Browning Maral (straight pull) in 9.3x62 was a great rifle. Shot a few deer and goats with it.

Not particularly wedded to any country yet. Zimbabwe, Namibia and Tanzinia all looked good, price will be up there with the family! So I wouldn't rule SA out either. Thanks all, very welcoming.

You could inset them on the trophy shield, I've seen others turned into cuff links too. Agree with the above post, after a while they accumulate and become a nuisance,unless they have particular sentimental value.
