    Heym 88B 375HH for sale

No, and it likely not relevant. If I do work on a gun and see that the chamber is dirty or has carbon in it I’ll run a honing brush through it for 30seconds to brighten it up. Just shows pride in work

    Heym 88B 375HH for sale

I completely understand. I’ll go on a limb here’s my name is David Parrish I’m on FB and instagram, I own Liberty Hill Precision. I’m super busy building rifles “bolt guns” so my internet playtime is limited unless I have specific need or want to research and hear stories about specific species.

    Heym 88B 375HH for sale

Yes I can find the receipt. I don’t think it was abused, I’m a gunsmith too but I don’t work on Heym Double Rifles, that is a specialty and everyone that has a Heym knows JJ and sends their Heym to him, if it was rare JJ wouldn’t be getting any work. Lol Additionally, nothing is perfect all...

    Heym 88B 375HH for sale

I actually bought this Heym off of this forum. It needed some gunsmithing. JJ replaced the firing pins and other springs. He also put grooves in rib to allow for attachment of a Trijicon RMR which comes with it. Trij is not in pic 12450$ for rifle shipped to any of the lower 48 states - up...

Is Annealing important for hunting loads?

doesnt much matter honestly. I deprime, size, clean then anneal, trim/chamfer/debur, prime, powder, seat bullet as long as you have deprimed the brass anneal before or after sizing or cleaning or neck prepping.

Is Annealing important for hunting loads?

I anneal for both hunting and comp ammo. yes it extends the life of brass but more importantly it ensures the consistency of the neck tension which does affect accuracy, pressures and velocity.

RMR or SRO on Heym DR

I’ll be running a 88B JJ will put the mount on, I’m a gunsmith but I know when to use a specialists. Still leaning towards the SRO Trijicon. The RMR HD is definitely intriguing with its light sensing adaptability feature. I already use a Burris RMR on my Ruger No1 in 375HH so the smaller...

RMR or SRO on Heym DR

Looking for recommendations on types and sizes of RMR/SRO optic for a heym 88B DR. JJ is putting the mount on it. I currently use a Ruger No 1 375 with a Burris Fast Fire 2. 3MOA Dot. It’s amazingly for target acquisition but the DR is a bit bigger/wider and wondering what others have found...
