Well it's silly they give people such a hard time. Right now they are batting 100% . For every trip, even the one I returned from yesterday, they have NEVER looked at the suppressors or the paperwork. Ever.
BTW .. I spoke to the CBP at the airport and he told me just bring it on the day of...
I'm retired now and was wondering if that is a valid input on a SAPS 520? On some banking forms even if you are retired they still want to know what your previous job was . Just wondering
This is another 4457 post. I have been to CBP 3 times this year. First two times zero problems with the suppressors.

Why is it that the CBP people are all over the place on this? I go one day and they will file and sign a 4457 no problem. Then today they tell me I have to get something from the commerce department.
It's still good information. Many of the outfitters are from the old school. They have a rule and the rule is the rule. Even my outfitter said "I will let you hunt with your rifle with one animal if it does not go well then you will use mine" I used mine the whole time.
