FN Mauser style action not feeding

This right here. Some one probably replaced the original extractor and it just needs a little bit of fitting. No big deal at all. Mauser extractors are a pain in the butt. .

458 Win Mag and todays powders

500 Grainers just aren't necessary with todays bullets........CEB and Barnes monos especaially. I like the 450 grain in both the Lott and the Win Mag. 2200fps is eay with either in the win mag and can go really good in the Lott!

Feed Issues with RSM 416 Rigby

The edge off the extractor has chipped. None of mine look remotely like that, and yes. That certainly can cause feeding issues. I have handled many and never once seen one with a feeding issue. Every one I have touched has fed and functioned well........just my .02cents worth. .

    Barrel threading

I have threaded several barrels for suppressors, I have only had to remove the barrel for one........it was very short. Every rifle I own that shoots suppressed has a different point of impact suppressor on and suppressor off. As was said before, never, ever, ever, use a die to thread a barrel!

Glad to be of assistance, I've had a few of those types of conversations as well. Professional Hunter Gun Safety

I will never leave the truck in DG country without a round in the chamber, ever. I use the rifles safety but never depend on it. I have lectured a PH on gun safety and several game scouts, I had a game scout in Zim replaced because that damned AK was pointed everywhere.
