    416 REM

And you already have or have access to a .458 WM.

    416 REM

Yes a .416 RM can be loaded with 350 and/or 400 grain bullets for DG. Stay with your .375 as it is so much more versatile and fun to shoot. My .375 has run everything in plains game and my CB.

Swift, NF, and/or Barnes TSX are all great choices and will perform well on any game animal.

The 243 is among the best rifles

6MM Remington is a great cartridge had one in a Ruger M77 that could really shoot. I do like my .243 Ackley Improved shooting a Sierra 85 grain HPBT at 3370 FPS.

    300 gr Silvertip 375 H&H load data

I shoot less than 1 MOA with 300 grain Barnes TSX using 75.5 grains of W760 and CCI 250 primers. Very accurate load.

    6.5 PRC for plains game?

Kevin375 is on it. 6.5 PRC is fine as stated and as we have said many times shot placement is more important than caliber. Have a great time.

Large magnum rifle primers - brand preference?

All of those brands are good primers. As a handloader I have experienced the best accuracy with CCI and Federal in my .375 H&H and WLRM in my .300 Jarrett.

    Safari boots and brands !!!

Kenetrek. Best boots in the world for any hunt.

.375 should be banned from buffalo hunts!

With proper shot placement the .375 H&H is a terrific cartridge for CB hunting.

.416 Rem bullet for Cape Buffalo

All the above comments are spot on. It's always good to shoot what you are most accurate and comfortable with. 350 or 400 grains will not make much difference with proper shot placement.

Will this locking ammo box be acceptable to the authorities ?

I doubt it. Get a good locking Pelican or something similar.
