The Blaser sticks have the little strap that can be removed. It is good for placing the rests in the right position length wise and as long as you set up over the sticks, meaning set up the fronts for a quick shot than draw back the rear for extra support if needed. Dryfire practice is the key...

Started with Mjoelnar Hunting, Fenris II aluminium quad sticks which were good however the flat fore rest let the rifle roll somewhat. Moved onto carbon fibre Blaser 2.0 quad sticks. With the forked rests they seem to be excellent.

Red Deer Hunt

The little 308win Blaser K95 racked up its first red deer on the weekend and the TTSX 150gr put him down very hard at 35m.

Finally was able to get in the field and clean up a few pigs and feral goats with the Blaser K95. This little sow was first of three pigs and nine goats taken. Barnes TTSX 150gr bullet @ 2870fps certainly did the job handily. Cheers John
