It was alittle sloppy but I never pulled the action out of the stock till i saw the crack. Had another rifle at this smith and after two years received a box of parts back. I'll be composing an email with pictures this afternoon.

Can you gentleman tell me if a proper bedding job would have prevented this stock from cracking at the tang?
