    Cottontails

Nice way to keep the traditions of small game hunting alive. I get after the squirrels occasionally, but beagles & bunnies…looks like a good time.

Looking for first African hunt - area recommendations?

I’m looking, and planning at this point. I’m interested in where to go for plains game like: Red Hartebeest, Orxy, Impala, Blesbok, Springbuck, Bushbuck or Nyala. Are SA or Namibia equally good for my list? Or most of it? My ‘06 with 180gr should work.

Tiny 10 - Which ones are the hardest to get?

MEXICO: Has Anyone Hunted With El Mito Ranch?

Have any of you folks hunted at El Mito? I saw them featured on a TV show recently. Aoudad and Fallow deer are 2 species I'm interested in, and they have them. They also offer a few African plains game species. Just looking for some feedback from others, who've been there.

A Brown Brocket Deer in the garden.....

His cohones remind me of the duikers trapped near my village in Zaire, (Bandundu Region) when I was a Peace Corps volunteer nearly 30yrs ago.

    Hello from Hawaii

From some research I’ve done, my 30’06 should be adequate. I mostly shoot 180gr.

    Hello from Hawaii

I’ve been dreaming of an African trip for a while. I was a Peace Corps vol in Zaire, 1989-1991. Zaire Oye! Red Hartebeest Blesbok, Impala, Springbok, Bushbuck...that’s my “list”. I fish some, and shoot clay targets, and like spring turkey hunting and waterfowling.
