    Most durable wood stock finish/treatment

So I am going to begin building a big bore rifle with the hopes of someday putting together an Alaskan trip (moose if God willing) I give synthetic stocks their due, but they don't have the same 'soul' as wood stocks for me. So since this build is starting from scratch, I was wondering if...

Cooper Plainsman 9.3x62 Mauser For Sale

I apologize for not updating soon. Unfortunately this rifle was sold last month. The fella that ends up with this rifle will be very lucky indeed. I can tell you it was one of the very last plainsmens built at Cooper firearms of Montana before they closed.

What’s your guys opinion on a 375 flanged double rifle by Sabatti?

From person experience, not just anyone reputable will touch a Sabatti. I was turned down by several reputable double rifle smiths when i had problems with mine. Luckily Ken Owens came to my rescue.

What’s your guys opinion on a 375 flanged double rifle by Sabatti?

I bought a Sabatti, brand new, year before last. the fit and finish on the rifle is good for the money. The Action locks up tight. My issue came from regulating. It would not pattern both barrels on a pie plate at the 50yrd range. Thankfully a miracle worker named Ken Owens was able to get my...

Always do as you Professional Hunter says

This would be a divorce in my household, but I would have no regrets. Hell of a story to tell, and that second shot was a beautiful one.

    Trijicon Reflex on a Double

My rifle has a dove tail rail that screws onto the rib that is drilled and tapped, but between it and the trijicon base it lifted the sight higher than I would have liked. I did look for one of the gunsmith blank bases for the trijicon, however every place I saw was out of stock. I got a piece...
