I know the main focus is Africa. Myself I haven't taken a domestic hunt in 5 years. I was just bringing up the point from a good source that hunts are not booking as fast as they used to.

I use a booking agent Bullseye outdoor adventures to help book hunts, and while talking to him a last month he said this is the first year he still had openings this late in the year for his deer and elk stuff. So hopefully stuff levels off and prices come down. Now what does come down mean...

I looked up and called Dan Morgan. He had just what I was looking for. While i had him on the phone I asked him about his business. I didn't keep him on the phone very long but what a cool guy to talk to. Not a lot of people left anywhere in the world with those skills.

That's what I'm planning. A friend owns a machine shop, at 16ga or bigger I have a better chance of getting scrap tubing or round stock to make the barrels long enough. I can't say I have ever measured a hand rail but just guessing I would think 20ga and under would feel a touch small
