From a hunter's not a collector's perspective a trophy has little or nothing to do with the size. It's all about the total experience. At my age I might not remember the size, but every time I sit in the room of pictures and or a mount, I totally remember every moment.

Use the Barnes TSX bullets. They are great for anything the 30.06 can harvest. It's an all copper bullet. The only problem is that you will need to reload. I don't know if you can but a commercial version.

IF a cape buffalo in in your thinking take the 30.06 idea out. The smallest thing they will let you use is a 375.

Yes, they work great. Highly recommend them, (but only when you put them in the gun case not in the suitcase).
