Being part of the "younger generation" I still prefer the KISS method and like the older traditional forum style myself.

USA: Davis Mountains Aoudad Hunt With Hunter Ross Desert Safaris

Don't get me wrong, I'd absolutely love to do a guided one, unfortunately that might be a bit difficult to pull off on a student budget. I've looked into a couple places in NM that has them on private land or I've found a couple outfitters in TX that offer non guided hunts/land access for a...

    Most affordable North American species?

If you're willing to put in the time and effort a DIY elk hunt in Wyoming is actually quite affordable. 600 for the tag and then just your lodging/food. However if pronghorn are your main goal, I would HIGHLY recommend a red desert Wyoming hunt (area 61) and also just do that DIY. There's a...

USA: Davis Mountains Aoudad Hunt With Hunter Ross Desert Safaris

Beautiful sheep! Aoudad are definitely on my short list of animals I plan on going after within the next couple years. I'm leaning more and more towards a DIY hunt though

    Howdy from Nebraska

My father, friend and I went out for 3 days this fall for early teal and limited every day as well as getting quite...

    Howdy from Nebraska

We cut a bunch of cedars out because they're not native to the area but not 100% sure on the bigger cottonwoods, only reasoning I can think of is because they were right next to the larger ponds and could hold predators that would scare the ducks off.

    Howdy from Nebraska

Right now leaning towards SA but definitely open to options. I'll be going with my father and he hunted Bostwana back in 1989 and would like getting back there as well (pending legality at the time). I agree, I love hunting here. We have a thousand acre ranch up by Calamus that used to be...

    Howdy from Nebraska

Have checked out the site for some time now, figured I'd finally make a post and introduce myself. I grew up hunting birds, deer and antelope in South Dakota/Nebraska and plan on making my first adventure to Africa sometime in 2018 after I graduate from nursing school. Glad to be joining up...
