Want To Sell Ruger Hawkeye 338 Win Mag

The red pad suggests an early MKII production (early 90"s), and I don't think Ruger ever made a 77 with less than 24 inches

Want To Sell Unfired in box Ruger M77 MKII Express in 30/06

Won’t machining off the semi-circular excess, and leaving a flat bolt face, at least on the bottom, result in a gap in the barrel/bolt face area where the case is totally unsupported? It’s only a few millimeters, but maybe that’s too much? Just thinking out loud, not pounding my fist on the table

Ruger M77 Tang Safety 458 Win for sale

This back and forth is a bit confusing. Is it sold? Why is the seller sending a PM and to whom? Sales on this forum seem occasionally to be formless.

For Sale Ruger American Factory 358 Winchester RARE

I don’t like to make extraneous comments in a want ad, but I grew up about 70 miles from Grice Gun shop. Got to know them during their fledgling years. See “Scoot Grice”. It’s wonderful to see that they got so big and mighty that they could coerce their own special run of a wonderful little...

Want To Sell Winchesters: 7x57 Featherweight and .416 Safari Express

Is there a crack AND a scratch? The crack running horizontally and the scratch vertically, from the comb to the grip cap? Or is it a “crosshair” shaped crack? Which I doubt. Does the crack appear on the other (bolt) side of the stock? Thank you

    Value of Ruger no.1

Assuming it’s not scratched and/or pitted, that’s a solid price, even if the scope is a plain Jane M8 4X. And it probably isn’t.

Try and convince me the 243 is actually useful

If I remember correctly, the 243 Winchester and the 244 Remington were conceived as much, or even more, as wind bucking varmint cartridges. In fact, the 244 was only loaded with a 75 and 90 grain bullet for a period of years. That was due mostly because of a slower twist, I believe 1-12...

    Cutler kills a sable!!!

I’m not sure “reporter” or “journalist” was ever the honorable profession the practitioners claim it was, but it was better than the laxative testers, horse inseminators they have become. With a nod to ‘2 1/2 Men’.

For Sale Assorted Scopes, Leupold, Nikon, Burris, and Redfield

Are the 2 Burris minis essentially rimfire scopes, one with a 50 yard parallax setting? Or literally centerfire models with weight and size reductions? I think Burris may have made both variations at some point, but I’m entering the twilight zone of my memory function.

What new Ruger would you like to see in a limited special run?

Maybe a No 1 RSI in 30/30 Win. That round is the pipsqueak visual duplicate of the 450/400. Where I came from in NW Pa., the 30/30 likely killed more deer than anything except harsh winters.

What new Ruger would you like to see in a limited special run?

I didn’t mean to imply they were unsafe, but merely that I don’t see Ruger making even a limited run of something they abandoned 30 years ago. But Smith & Wesson is making more revolvers without the Hillary hole, so anything is possible.

What new Ruger would you like to see in a limited special run?

I doubt the legal eagles would allow a tang safety to be made. Again. Even thoughI don’t recall any issues with that safety mechanism, certainly not like the Remington 700 presented.

    NIB Ruger Safari .223

That didn’t gather any dust. Congrats. Only a few serial digits older than mine. Glad to have the polished blue and not the matte.
