does anybody have a connection for RMR plates for a Chapuis? looking for one that can go direct to the rifle. I saw Skinner Sights had some on their Instagram but I reached out to them and it sounds like that’s a bit of a dead end. Anyone sell them, or anybody that can custom make one for a guy?

thanks mark. makes sense. I don't think anything is wrong with it other than it's a little snug and I hate to man handle it. These double rifles are beautiful. I can see how people get an addiction.

long time reader, new member. lots of good info here. Anyone have any difficulty getting the forearm off a Chapuis X4 Elan? New gun, I'm guessing it will break in and loosen up with shooting. The forearm lever comes out about half inch and I don't want to push it. Any tips?
