I'm told Ag inspector stated all shipments now required due to influenza and hoof in mouth. I get conflicting info from Coppersmith and other sources. The inspector i got even required mounted animals from 3 other shipments(not mine) to be "decontaminated"

Jennifer at Coppersmith relayed she was informed by Ag Dept inspector it was due to HMD. Doesn't make sense to me as there is no HMD in that part of Namibia.

I fall into the classic old school train of thought. African rifles need to be wood stock and blued. As for Alaska, I see the benefit of stainless with synthetic stock.
I have always used iron sights on my DG rifles. However now that my eyesight is not what it used to be, I'm going with an rmr on my 404j build. Not a fan of scopes for DG
