I'm told Ag inspector stated all shipments now required due to influenza and hoof in mouth. I get conflicting info from Coppersmith and other sources. The inspector i got even required mounted animals from 3 other shipments(not mine) to be "decontaminated"

Jennifer at Coppersmith relayed she was informed by Ag Dept inspector it was due to HMD. Doesn't make sense to me as there is no HMD in that part of Namibia.

Congrats. Hunted with them twice. Last time was Oct 2025. Great people and fantastic area. Headed back as soon as possible.

Just got back from RSA(limpopo), Namibia, and Zimbabwe. All areas are in real bad shape. Namibia especially so. Praying for a great rainy season.

I fall into the classic old school train of thought. African rifles need to be wood stock and blued. As for Alaska, I see the benefit of stainless with synthetic stock.
