In 375 I'm using SWIFT A-Frame 300 gr for cape buffalo, 300 grain RWS SOLID for the elephant and 256 grain Sauvestre Fip ( very simular to Barnes) for wild boar driven hunt.
Dont have 300 win but for my 300NM the bullet is 230 grain BERGER hybrid target. The leopard was taken with 300 NM AT 250...

I'm using Blaser Infinity scope 1-7x28 in first focal plane for my 375. Use it to shoot all my DG's plus Eland on 200 m. Also it is perfect for driven hunt for wild boars at home where distances are from 10 to 250 m
In Bulgaria we have the same problem with golden jackals. No natural enemy exept the wolf (which is releatively smaller population and is in the mountains). For the last six years i have more than 500 jackals killed, and the result for the other animals like rabbits, pheasans and other birds it...
I shot my elephant with 375h&h with 300 grain solid RWS - side brain shot from 25-30 m. Tne animal dropped on spot. There was exit wound on the other side of the head.
We have roe deer, red deer, mouflon, Balkan chamois, wild boar, fallow dear and wolf jakals and foxes.
The most exiting hunt in Bulgaria for me is driven hunt for wild boars.
