I might have something that would work for you if you want a project stock. It's a factory mark V stock but it's not checkered, no recoil pad, and no sling studs. I bought it for a project that I decided to go with a synthetic stock on.

I live in Central WI. Most that I've talked to just cold blue. That would be a disservice to this rifle. I do a fair amount of my own gunsmithing but not blueing.
