I love the scene in Stream when they are at the bar and they are goofing around with the lady, etc. I think that kind of stuff was written from life and there were very memorable moments the boys had with Hemingway.
I don’t think you are crazy at all. I remember backpack hunting for turkey one year and it was dead quiet at night the the sounds my ears/mind made kept me up. It was like a weird squelching sound / probably similar to the “metal” your clients describe. I have tinnitus but this is different.
I think the P-51A is the coolest mustang.
My uncle was a huge fan of the DC-3 / C-47 as he had about 5000 hours in them and survived two crashes including this one when he was running ammo across Africa for the Pan Am Africa ops in WWII.
By the way, any of you passing through Idaho be sure to...
To be hionest, I think he did. I have read about everything on Denys that is out there - including some personal letters. I think he was very much an 'on his own terms' kind of man. Intelligent, adventurous, humorous, but a bit aloof. Kept a small but quality friend group, cared a great deal...
If I can get it with standard OAL from a 24” I’d be happy to get whatever I can. I personally do not like loading “long” for any cartridge I use. I have had great luck thus far in getting good results without needing to.

I used to love playing backgammon as a kid. The problem nowadays is finding someone to sit down that long.
I also like Mancala - or Bao as it is called in east africa. I have never heard of old school safaris playing it, but it is a very old game, one of the earliest. I have seen pics of bao...
God Bless Patrick Hemingway
Patrick Hemingway died yesterday, September 2. He was of course Ernest’s middle son and had his own adventurous and well-lived life including his farm and time at the wildlife college in Tanzania. There are drinks all around tonight...

She says herself that maga types (what is a maga-type anyway? The fact she does not define it indicates your [and her] pre-conceived notions are the same) not in...
She doesn’t seem to understand the very people she identifies with. The reflexive disdain she mentions is a core part of the leftist identity - by definition there is no thinking involved.
And, ever notice every piece of meat folks like this cook is some overwrought, fancy, Escoffier-esque...
