Tear out on these kinds of wood happen alot. Sharp blades and min depth cuts will help but not totally eliminate it. Keep up the good work.

NICELY DONE!! I have done several projects with Zebra wood in solid and as veneer's. It is an interesting wood to work with. be careful if you start working with 1/2 or thinner pieces as they have a bad tendency to warp or twist on you.

That Mortimer is a very nice little rifle! Love the round body on it. Which rook round is it chambered for?

I just ran the data through quickload program. With H4895 81gr get you 2066fps at 36875psi (39160psi is the listed max pressure for the 470.) Remember this is a computer calculation your results may vary with your rifle and the lot of powder you are using etc So always use safe reloading...

@Hyde Hunter Just teach her to hunt and she will also be addicted after her first buff. Ask me how I know :X3: Just warn you that your taxidermy bill goes up when the Mrs. also hunts. That said watching her shoot her first buff and elephant was special.
