The 350 grain will penetrate 4-5 feet deep length wise. The load the ammo so the recoil is not insane and you can quickly take follow up shots. I took a cape and female lion with 350 gr TSX. Massive damage !!

416 Rigby ammo is available in Africa. Many PH own a CZ 550 chambered in that caliber. If you can find those CZ 550 you would enjoy it. Frankly, the greater concern is that you practice with that rifle a lot and get really good with it!!

You can’t go wrong with a 1x6 Leupold VX6 with fire dot. It turns your 404 Jeffery into a long range shooter and close bush gun. I used my 450 Rigby on a croc at 77 yards, Impala at 56 yards and Elephant at 15 yards. All well placed 1st shots because I had a bit of magnification!
