    Thanks for the feedback. I'm also going for a spotted hyena, an impala and hoping for a zebra. Maybe another smaller animal or two depending on how it goes. Can't hurt to take the 06 I guess.

    270 grain Barnes LRX (375 H&H) for Buffalo??

    I'm going for buffalo and some plains game this summer. I decided to go with a TSX 300 grain in my 375 Ruger pushed at about 2300 fps which should give impact velocities >2000 out to 150 yards or more. SD on that bullet is .304 compared to .274 for a 270 grain one. From what I've read on this...

    Northfork VS Swift?

    I shot a deer with the NF 180gn SS last fall in 308. One shot and down. Plan to look at the NF 300gn SS for my 375 Ruger or the 370gn for my 416 Taylor for a Buffalo hunt this summer. I just can’t find A-Frames in my neck of the woods.
