yes its possible, but to me its not worth the trouble of traveling that far for 7 days of hunting, I prefer 10-14 just to not feel rushed, see the sights and actually hunt. It also depends on where and who you are hunting with.

I am loading a 156 berger, But I am haveing good luck with N565. I hear good things about H1000 . I load H1000 in my 300wm with good results. I would be looking at getting some N565, H1000, or H4831SC

The magnum recievers (3inch) had a M as the last digit of the serial number if memory serves me correct. Also the ejector on the 2 3/4 recievers is to far forward to relialbly eject the 3 inch shell. The 3-1/2 inch reciver the bolt has a shroud to allow it to collapse and move reward further...

I had a friend that recently canceled a safari to the east cape. Concerned about crime and violence. My last trip over I felt safari in Africa than some parts of Dc, Petersburg Va or Portsmouth Va. I just hope the negative news from the pastor and other sources do not hurt the reputable...

I have a low power 1-5 scope in a set of Talley rings and a 2-12 in a set of Talley rings. For Africa or close bear I use the 1-5. For longer range stuff. Deer/ elk I put the 2-12 on it.

I agree. I zero most of my rifles for 100 yards and dial or use the reticle for distance depending on the time I have. Even the flat shooting ones .

My 375HH is pushing a 300g ttsx at 2550fps. sighted at 100 yards, its 4 1/2 inches low at 200 and 16inches low at 300. I put a CDS on mine so I could dial for 300 yard shot is needed and I had the time.
