If you want to have the biggest stick on the playground, why not just build a bore gun? I've always fancied the idea of building an 8 Bore ML for shits and giggles. I think they are just wonderful..and quit romantic. Those old timers hunting ivory with those monster bore guns. A 1" hole...

I agree, of all the manufacturers of doubles, HYEM is the only one I would have make one for me, if I decided not to make it for myself.

I've shot a couple old English doubles that by no means did both barrels shoot good groups. Generally speaking the right barrel is shot more, so maybe worn more, but even on a evenly worn gun I've seen one barrel shoot 4 inch group and the other 1.5. You just can't control the metal at that...

You know, I've handled some of his guns, never shot one, but overall I like them alot. They are unique to him, and his style. I do use the same PAC-NOR barrels, and just love them.
